Cannabis - A Gift From Gods - Part II

 Cannabis
Cannabis contains more than 60 substances that could be used instead of chemistry in pharmaceutical industry

From cannabis leaves, flowers and seeds can be obtained:

  • medicinal agents for: treat asthma, tumor, epilepsy, arthritis, insomnia, headache, loss of appetite….
  • food: edible oil, margarine, food for birds…
  • Technical products: oil paints, brushes, cleaners, lubricants, fiber, paper, building materials, fuel, textiles, newsprint, fine paper, cardboard, chipboard, material for damping, material for isolation, suits, ropes, nets, foils, sails ...

Cannabis  contains at least 60 substances, that could be used as active ingredients in medications. It has been more than a hundred years since the study from English commission RAY has found that the enjoyment of cannabis is not harmful, but USEFUL! That has been confirmed by many other studies like: La Guardia Report, Nixon Shafer commission and other.

Fundamental assumption for the use of cannabis is overcoming prejudices. However, it is believed that hemp is a dangerous drug, that creates a habit and that makes smokers seem asocial, whereby its healing properties are forgotten. So let me write some of those healing properties:
Asthma: Cannabis contains tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) which has psychoactive performance. It extends the bronchi and can be used as an instrument against the narrowing of the airways. Smoking of cannabis, that is, marijuana, could help to millions of people.
Green Star: occurs due to elevation of internal eye pressure. Compared with ordinary means for reducing such pressure, cannabis has a triple effect. Besides that, it has no harmful, side effects on liver and kidneys.
Epilepsy: Medical World News magazine in 1971. published: “ Marijuana is, which can be assumed, the best anti epileptic agent that medicine know about” That was confirmed by later studies, too.
An anti-fatigue, anti stimuli for vomiting and loss of appetite: Zahlen institute showed that cannabis works on 60-70% of cancer diseased, who during the therapy have that kind of side effects. Hemp remove those symptoms, or significantly reduces them.
Remedy for sleep and relaxation: Those who smoke cannabis in the evening, can look forward to a good sleep and recovery. Cannabis lowers the blood pressure, therefore, it can be used as anti stress remedy.

With all this and other therapeutic activities, cannabis has one, supposedly, repulsive effect. It makes the person who smokes it, to feel “high”.
Do you know what does HIGH means?? Well, that is a state of heightened sensory abilities, sense of inner happiness, which is related to cheerfulness, rich imagination and relaxation. So what do you think? Is there anything wrong with a man feeling happy?
U.S. government and police statistics shows that yearly 100 000 people die of alcohol. Marijuana use, however, it hasn’t led to a single death in 10 000 years.

So what does prevent the responsible ones to legalize cannabis?

Well we are well aware who runs this world. If cannabis was legal, all of them would go broke. And I really mean all of them. You wouldn’t need to use their drugs, their fuel, their cloths, their paper, their anything. And wouldn’t that be a disaster? In that case they would have to work for a living, just like you and me.

What a sick world we live in. People should resist all of this bullshit they are selling you. You just don’t want to understand that the power is in ALL OF US. Individually, there is nothing we can do, but keep eating shit. So whenever is some kind of protest against those who keep lying to us, make sure you are there.

Cannabis
Hemp or Cannabis is the oldest plant that is cultivated by man

In Nepal, cannabis is a wild plant.

It can be found all over the mountain area up to the 4000 meters above sea level. There it is used for all sort of things. From cannabis fibers they make ropes and cloth and by extrusion of cannabis seeds they make oil. Female flowers are used for medicine and pleasure.

All parts of cannabis can be used for medical purposes in many areas. For Tibetans hemp is a holy plant because Buddha, during the six years of ascetic, before he experienced the enlightenment, fed himself exclusively with that plant.

Monastic books, since Buddhism appeared in Nepal and Tibet, are printed only on cannabis paper. Besides that, hemp is a integral part of Tibetan medical treasure.

Cannabis is used primarily as a remedy for disturbances and diseases caused by faulty operation of bile. It also stimulates the liver function and therefore the digestion. In Nepal it is used for treatment of the digestive organs, nerve diseases, respiratory tract, skin, lymph nodes and genitals. Tibetan list of the cannabis treated diseases includes rheumatism, inflammation, cramps, diarrhea, cholera, problems with urination, cough, animal bites, scorpion stings, roundworms, purulent inflammations ...

Although the oldest finding of cannabis flowers is in Germany, botanists believe that hemp found it’s way to the rest of the world from Himalayas.
As food, medicine and as a material for various products it is used for more than 6000 years. Ancient Egyptians, in their scrolls, left the recipe for the medicine that is used for glaucoma treatment. Glaucoma occurs due to increased pressure in the eye and can lead to blindness. Pharmacological studies have shown that cannabis reduces this pressure, and patients tolerate it better than chemical drugs for the same purpose. That is the reason why, in America, people with glaucoma can buy marijuana in drugstore.
Romans used cannabis extracts for the herpes treatment. Studies in Switzerland showed that cannabis extract act against cramps. For that cramps there are a lot of medications, however all of them have side effects, which hemp do not have.
Cannabis was holy plant with Germanic people, too. It was dedicated to Freya – goddess of love. Healing characteristics of hemp Germanic people were using in the middle age.

Medical - Pharmacological research started in the 19th century. Over the time, someone brought up the conclusion  that cannabis is “dangerous” and that it is the first step toward the consumption of heavy drugs. This damnation which was thrown on a Holy Plant from AMERICA, led to prohibition of use otherwise useful cannabis extracts, and, in the end, the plant itself was declared illegal. What a sick world we live in.

Marijuana Cuts Lung Cancer Tumor Growth In Half, Study Shows

The active ingredient in marijuana cuts tumor growth in common lung cancer in half and significantly reduces the ability of the cancer to spread, say researchers at Harvard University who tested the chemical in both lab and mouse studies.

They say this is the first set of experiments to show that the compound, Delta-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), inhibits EGF-induced growth and migration in epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) expressing non-small cell lung cancer cell lines. Lung cancers that over-express EGFR are usually highly aggressive and resistant to chemotherapy.
THC that targets cannabinoid receptors CB1 and CB2 is similar in function to endocannabinoids, which are cannabinoids that are naturally produced in the body and activate these receptors. The researchers suggest that THC or other designer agents that activate these receptors might be used in a targeted fashion to treat lung cancer.
"The beauty of this study is that we are showing that a substance of abuse, if used prudently, may offer a new road to therapy against lung cancer," said Anju Preet, Ph.D., a researcher in the Division of Experimental Medicine.

Acting through cannabinoid receptors CB1 and CB2, endocannabinoids (as well as THC) are thought to play a role in variety of biological functions, including pain and anxiety control, and inflammation. Although a medical derivative of THC, known as Marinol, has been approved for use as an appetite stimulant for cancer patients, and a small number of U.S. states allow use of medical marijuana to treat the same side effect, few studies have shown that THC might have anti-tumor activity, Preet says. The only clinical trial testing THC as a treatment against cancer growth was a recently completed British pilot study in human glioblastoma.
In the present study, the researchers first demonstrated that two different lung cancer cell lines as well as patient lung tumor samples express CB1 and CB2, and that non-toxic doses of THC inhibited growth and spread in the cell lines. "When the cells are pretreated with THC, they have less EGFR stimulated invasion as measured by various in-vitro assays," Preet said.
Then, for three weeks, researchers injected standard doses of THC into mice that had been implanted with human lung cancer cells, and found that tumors were reduced in size and weight by about 50 percent in treated animals compared to a control group. There was also about a 60 percent reduction in cancer lesions on the lungs in these mice as well as a significant reduction in protein markers associated with cancer progression, Preet says.
Although the researchers do not know why THC inhibits tumor growth, they say the substance could be activating molecules that arrest the cell cycle. They speculate that THC may also interfere with angiogenesis and vascularization, which promotes cancer growth.
Preet says much work is needed to clarify the pathway by which THC functions, and cautions that some animal studies have shown that THC can stimulate some cancers. "THC offers some promise, but we have a long way to go before we know what its potential is," she said.
